Since first opening its doors in 1927, The Mark has been New York and the world’s premiere landmark hotel. Visionary developers at Alexico Group recently completed a full redevelopment of the hotel. Situated at the corner of 77th Street and Madison Avenue, The Mark features 150 hotel rooms and suites plus ten cooperatives. Each intricate detail of The Mark has been brought up to the exacting standards of modern innovation while maintaining the hotel’s rich character. Impeccable five-star hotel services are available, led by veteran luxury hotel manager James Sherwin. The Mark Restaurant by Jean Georges, features an innovative menu specially crafted by the award-winning Jean-Georges Vongerichten. The Mark is also home to a new Frédéric Fekkai Salon offering a full spectrum of services with en-suite privileges, all readily available to residents and guests.
The exquisite new design of The Mark is the work of legendary interior designer Jacques Grange, whose philosophy is perfectly realized throughout The Mark, including the lobby, The Mark Restaurant and Mark Bar. The new design also includes fascinating and playful artworks created by celebrated artists and artisans including Anne & Vincent Corbiére, Guy de Rougemont, Mattia Bonetti, Eric Schmitt, François Marie Banier, Vladimir Kagan and Patrice Dangel, who have been commissioned personally by Grange and Alexico Group to create one-of-a-kind pieces for The Mark’s public spaces.
