Barrie Mandel's position in the CORCORAN GROUP is unique in that it spans two divisions. She is presently a Senior Vice President of THE CORCORAN GROUP, as well as a Senior Marketing Director of CORCORAN GROUP MARKETING.

In Barrie's work handling re-sales of residential properties with THE CORCORAN GROUP, she has been honored as the NUMBER ONE broker in the Downtown division for seven of the last nine years, spanning 1998 through 2006. Barrie and her team have become particularly adept at developing innovative and comprehensive marketing materials for the many major buildings and individual residences she has represented in the Downtown neighborhoods. Over the last 20 years, Barrie has been involved in well over 500 real estate transactions with values in excess of $500,000,000.

In 1995, Barrie was one of the first brokers to become intimately involved in a new phase of downtown real estate; the reclamation, restoration and conversion of industrial and commercial buildings to residential lofts. As CORCORAN GROUP MARKETING took flight, she was at the forefront of evaluating market needs on behalf of developers. As buildings were acquired for development, Barrie had the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the conversion process, from acquisition and pricing, to design and interiors to floor plan structure, as well as the creation of web-based and print marketing materials. She has worked in this capacity on sixteen loft and apartment buildings in Tribeca, Greenwich Village, the East Village and the Lower East Side.

As a result of her professionalism, Barrie routinely earns her clients' respect, gratitude and loyalty. Satisfied customers refer the majority of her new clients.
